Spiderman was used to swinging from building to building, but one day he woke up feeling weaker than usual. He tried to shoot his webs, but they barely made it across the room. He realized he had lost his strength and needed to find another way to get around.
Feeling defeated, Spiderman decided to take the elevator to his friend's apartment. He entered the elevator, feeling self-conscious about his lack of strength. Just then, his arch-nemesis, the Green Goblin, walked in.
The Green Goblin sneered at Spiderman and said, "Looks like you've lost your superpowers, Spiderman. You're nothing without your strength." Spiderman tried to ignore him and looked down at the floor.
Suddenly, the elevator started to shake and rattle. Spiderman grabbed onto the handrail, but it broke off in his hand. The elevator then dropped a few feet and came to a screeching halt.
The lights flickered and then went out completely. Spiderman was left in complete darkness, feeling more helpless than ever. He tried to shoot his webs to climb out, but they still wouldn't work.
Just then, the Green Goblin started to laugh. Spiderman couldn't believe it - his nemesis was actually enjoying his misfortune. He tried to use his spider sense to locate the Green Goblin, but it didn't work either.
Feeling frustrated, Spiderman decided to try the emergency phone in the elevator. He picked up the phone and tried to dial for help, but the buttons were stuck. He slammed the phone down in frustration.
Just then, the elevator started to rise again. Spiderman couldn't believe it - it was working again. As the doors opened, he saw that he was only a few floors away from his friend's apartment. He quickly swung out of the elevator and made his way to his friend's door.
When his friend answered, he was surprised to see Spiderman without his strength. Spiderman explained what had happened in the elevator and how he had lost his powers. His friend listened sympathetically and then suggested they try to find a cure.
Together, they went to a nearby lab and started to run tests. They discovered that Spiderman had been exposed to a strange radiation that had temporarily weakened his powers. They were able to create an antidote, and Spiderman took it.
Almost immediately, Spiderman started to feel his strength returning. He shot his webs across the room, feeling more powerful than ever. He thanked his friend and swung out of the lab, ready to take on the world once again.
From then on, Spiderman made sure to be more careful about his exposure to radiation. And although he had to take the elevator a few more times, he never let it get him down. He knew that he was still a hero, even without his powers.
